On film, Renu stars in the critically acclaimed AFI film Dosh, winning Best Actress at the 2023 New Renaissance Film Festival, London, and was named a “Face of Slamdance” in 2024. Her earlier work includes Those Seven Steps, HBO Visionaries’ Halwa, The CW’s Dynasty, and multiple performances in the ABC Discovers Diversity Showcase. She also starred in the vertical series adaptation SIX DAYS IN MUMBAI by New York Times best-selling author Alka Joshi (The Henna Artist) , expanding her screen presence into serialized digital content for vertical platforms.

In 2023, inspired by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, Renu made her directorial debut with A Newlywed Story, which earned her “Best Actress” at the London Women Film Festival and “Outstanding Achievement in Romantic Comedy” at Indie Shorts Fest LA. She’s now developing her first feature film KAMELTOE, a biting comedy inspired by her experience at a luxury yoga brand.

Beyond the screen, Renu is also a boxer, documenting her fight camps and ring exhibitions as another form of artistry and empowerment. In totality, her work explores multidimensional womanhood: romantic, strong, elegant, poetic, and unapologetically full-spectrum.
